Richmond RiverKeeper - Founding Member 2022.
Richmond Riverkeeper emerged after the devastation of the 2022 floods, recognising a need for new governance structures to address the state of the catchment and to give the rivers of the Richmond River catchment a community voice. Our mission is to ensure the rivers of the Richmond River catchment are drinkable, swimmable and fishable again.
Northern Rivers Creative Sector Mapping Project - Advisory Committee Mar 2023 - Dec 2024
Funded by Create NSW in partnership with Arts Northern Rivers and Patternmakers, the advisory committee helps guide the research of future preparedness for the Creative Sector of the Northern Rivers. This will deliver a sector & region wide feasibility report of Northern Rivers arts & culture, infrastructure capacity and identified areas for growth.
Weaving Voices of the Rivers and the Night Sky - Story Weaver 2023 - 2024
Community led project managed by Kyogle Together, engaging river and night sky stories across the Kyogle LGA. The project will include storytelling, record keeping, and passing on important knowledge in relation to the health or the river systems. Healthy rivers = healthy communities.
